Being part of a community encourages a sense of belonging and the urge to achieve goals and plans better! At All About You (in association/partnership with Helping Hand 4U Pty Ltd (ABN: 94 640 943 031), community participation is helping people with a disability to interact and participate in the community better. The core support service improves overall skills and makes you independent to participate in social and recreational activities effortlessly! 
 

All aspects of your life goals and plans are explored through carefully planned activities. With dedicated support staff and special groups that engage in activities throughout the year, there’s always something in the community for participation! Wondering what the NDIS covers for community participation? Usually, activities that are necessary and help a person with a disability grow are included in the NDIS plan. NDIS alongside community participation may also cover travel and transport assistance (if any).
 

Activities that are considered community participation:

• Pursuing a course or a class of your interest

• Becoming a member of a dedicated club or a group

• Holidays

• Attending a camp

• Developing life skills to become more independent
